Addicted to Opium

Today's outfits are both from Opium, which has become one of my favourite stores of late and which I have blogged about previously here and here. I must say that after some revamp, their group gifts are getting even better and there are also quite a few lucky boards upstairs (you must activate your group tag though). I also loved the fact that membership was closed for awhile when group gifts were set out to reward loyal members who have stayed with them--I admit this is the first time I have heard of such a policy but I'm not complaining because it sure makes members feel special and keeps them addicted, which, incidentally, happens to be the title for members--'Opium Addict'!! *grin*

Airing Dirty Laundry...

...well, not really, just washing them *grin*, but I do feel for those who air their dirty laundry in public. There is so much of it in the newspapers every morning, far worse if you read the tabloids, and if most reports are to be believed, then the 'fights' are indeed nasty, distasteful, pitiful, and...human---maybe that's why I was attracted to this pristine white dress in the first place...

Baby It's Cold Outside

It was rather chilly today as I went for a stroll near the beach--though the gentle breeze from the sea felt good as it caressed my face and I closed my eyes briefly to soak it in, still I was glad I brought along my new stole from Avon + Alpha which was sent as a group gift. I don't particularly fancy featuring dresses that have already been 'blogged to death', so to speak, but this sexy group gift from A Piece of Candy is an exception because of the interesting shade of green and because of the way it made me feel warm and snug as it hugged my body, accentuating curves I never knew I had...
